Notes:

[R05.3]

Apparently he died in Smith Co TN.

He may have had a daughter Amanda.

--
I think he served in the War of 1812. There was a Right Rigsby who served from western TN. This is
the only Wright Rigsby I know of who would have been old enough.

--
The 1820 census says he was age 26-45, and so does 1810. In 1800 he is either 10-16 or 16-26, and in 1790 he is under 16. If these are all correct, he was born between 1775 and 1784.
He was in Smith Co TN in 1820, and I can't find him in 1830. From 1840 to 1860 in Smith Co is a Wright Rigsby born c1790. This is too young to be my Wright, and too old to be a son of my Wright.
They could be the same person if the 1810 census is wrong and he is 16-26. That makes his possible birth range 1784 to 1790.
There seems to be only one Wright Rigsby in the census before 1840, so I am assuming 1810 is wrong and Wright was born 1790.

Apparently he was in Smith Co TN around 1830, even though he's not on the census.
Interestingly, also in Smith Co at the same time was John K Rigsby, son of Thomas from Mecklenburg Co NC.
This Rigsby page says there was a deed from John Rigsby and Wright Rigsby to John Hiett in Smith Co in 1836.
Why would John and Wright be involved together? Are the two Rigsby branches closely related? So far I know of no other connection between Thomas of Mecklenburg and my Rigsbys.

[James 3, Willis 7, David 8, Thomas 11, Berry 12, Alexander 16, Wright 50, Susanna 15, Nancy 45]

I can't find him in 1830, but his children appear to be with the wife of his brother Daniel. See Daniel's notes, and their mother's.

[I think his and Nancy's ages must be wrong.]

Susanah Rigsby 1 M 0-10, 2 M 10-16, 1 M 16-26, 3 F 0-10, 1 F 10-16, 1 F 26-45
[He is about 10.]

1790 census Wake Co NC p104
James Rigby: 1 M 16+, 3 M 0 - 15, 2 F
[It looks like he was born before the census that year. James' children should be Daniel c6, John c3, Wright <1, and the daughter whose name I still don't know.]
