North Carolina, Chatham County
I, W J Riggsbee of the aforesaid County and
State being of sound mind but considering the
uncertainty of my earthly existence do make
and declare this my last will and testament

First I give and devise to my beloved wife the
house in which I live and 30 acres of land surround-
ing it and adjoining the tract of L M Riggsbee
on the north with trees extending about east and
west. At the widow's death, 20 acres of said lot shall
revert in fee to my eldest son L M Riggsbee pro-
vided he properly provides and cares for the widow
during her life. The remaining 10 acres shall
revert in fee to my daughter Cara A Riggsbee
at the death of my widow.

Second I give and bequeath to my eldest son L M
Riggsbee in fee simple a tract of land lying in
Baldwin Township Chatham County and known
as the Mark's [?] place, containing 45 acres.

Third I give and bequeath to my daughter Cara
A Riggsbee 58 acres lying in said township
and county and adjoining the widow's tract
on the north corresponding with the above said
east and west line.

Fourth I give and bequeath to my youngest
son R M Riggsbee 58 acres lying in above said
township and county, and adjoining the tract of
Cara A Riggsbee on the north and of G O Cole
on the south.

Fifth I hereby constitute and appoint my
trusty friend R F Cole my lawful executor to all
intents and purposes to execute this my last will
and testament according to the true intent and
meaning of the same and every part and
clause thereof, hereby revoking and declaring
utterly void all other wills and testaments
by me heretofore made.

hereunto set my hand and seal this 5th day
of April 1910.
