He served in the Civil War for the Union as a Private in the 37th Regiment of of the Enrolled Missouri Militia, Company G.
He enrolled 1862-08-11 in Lincoln Co MO, and was ordered into active service 1863-04-08. He served 19 days, and apparently died in service.
