Notes:

I don't remember now where I got the name and date of his first marriage, but there is a chance it is not
correct. Instead, Mary Ann may be actually be a daughter of Harriet Foreman.
One descendant of Mary Ann writes that there is a story that Harriet Foreman was captured in an Indian
raid as a young woman. She became pregnant by an Indian man, but then managed to escape the tribe
and return to her family. The story is that her child was Mary Ann, who was raised by Harriet's husband
Lucas Clinkenbeard.
