I Dennis Garrett Cole of Balt County Farmer being
sick and weak in Body but of sound mind memory and understanding and considering
the uncertainty of this Transitory life do make publish and declare this my last will and
testament in the manner and form following
Imps my will is that all my lawfull debts be duly paid.
Item I give and Bequeath to my Grandson Dennis Cole all my Tract or
parcell of land called addition to Henry's Folly to him his heirs and assigns during
the time and term of the lease of the same also a horse and saddle of eight pounds
price a Cow and Calf a ewe & lamb & sow & pigs.
Item I give & Bequeath to my six Grandchil-
dren the Children of my daughter Ediff Malonee (deceased) the sum of five pounds Pennsylvania
Currency to each of them
Item I give and Bequeath to my Grandson Stephen the first
born Son of my daughter Cassandra Gill) all my Tract of Land called Prices favour also
a Tract of Land called small hope and all my part of a Tract of Land called Coles Struggle
to him his Heirs and assigns only the said Stephen must give to his Cousin dennis Cole as
much Timber as will build a dwelling house and Barn.
Item I give & bequeath to my daughter Wrath Price ten pounds current money.
I give & bequeath to my daughter Rachel Pearce thirty pounds Current
Item I give and bequeath to my son Henry Cole all my Tract of land called
Henry's Folly also one young horse one heifer one Ewe and lam one sow and piggs.
Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Cassandra Gill five pounds Current money.
Item I give and bequeath to my granddaughter Rebekah Pitt the sum of five pounds current money.
Item my will is that my wife Rachel Cole have peacable possession of the land where I now live and all
my personall Estate as long as she lives single and without wasting the Estate.
I hereby nominate and appoint my two sons in law John Price Junr and Stephen Gill Executors of this
my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Will & Wills by me heretofore made.
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand seal this ___ day of December 1772.
