Jesse Rigsby Genealogy
Record modified: 2009-12-01
Born: 1764-00-00 North Carolina USA
Died: 1827-10-19 Orange Co, North Carolina USA
Marriages:
1. 1801-07-13 Elizabeth Pickett
Children of Jesse Rigsby and Elizabeth Pickett:
Notes:
[R20]
married in Orange Co NC at the home of William Partin
buried in Rigsby cemetery on the Duke University campus
Was he a son of this Jesse? Probably not.
According to pension papers, his mother was named Elizabeth.
He is supposed to be a brother of James and Frederick.
Is William another brother?
His children may include: Woodson (but only if Mark doesn't belong here)
An Archibald Rigsby was bondsman for the marriages of this Jesse's son Jesse, and of Woodson. Was that this Jesse's son Archibald, or was it R03 Archibald? If the former, does that mean Woodson was this Jesse's son? If the latter, does that mean Jesse J was not this Jesse's son?
Note that R03 Archibald apparently never left Wake Co, implying the bondsman was Jesse's son. That implies Woodson was Jesse's son, which in turn implies Mark was not.
