Notes:

[R06]

Warning: I don't have proof about this James.
From other researchers I have heard that James Rigsby + Elizabeth Partin were the parents of Luke and Isaiah. I haven't found anything to confirm this, but it does seem likely.
Jesse Rigsby married a Partin, and I think Thomas Rigsby did too. Thomas appears to be a brother or close relative of Frederick, and Frederick is supposed to have had brothers James and Jesse. This would appear to be the James, and it's believable he married a Partin.
There definitely were Partin families in Orange and Chatham counties, and they seem to have intermarried with several families who also married Rigsbys.

I suspect the four brothers were sons of James Rigsby + Wilmot Oldham.

I am also guessing at his birth date. If he was the father of Luke, he would have to be born no later than 1744. If he was the father of Isaiah he most likely was born after 1720. To fit in with Jesse, Thomas, and Frederick, he probably was born in the late 1730s. So I'm putting him at about 1735, but that could be off by 5 years or even more.
