This day Charles & Catherine Taliaferro in open court made
choise of their brother Mr Robert Taliaferro for their
guardian upon wch the court have ordered that the sd Robt
Taliaferro take into his possession & custody all & singular the
sd orphans estates and give bond with good & sufficient se
curitie to the next court held for this county to indemnifie the
sd court from and be accountable to the sd orphans for the
sd estate when there to lawfully ___.

Whereas Mr Robert Taliaferro who marryed Sarah one of
the daughters of Colnl John Catlett & Elizabeth his wife of
this county both decd did identify make appears to this court
that the sd Elizabeth did by her last will & testamt give & bequ
eath unto the sd Sarah her daughter the 4th part of what money
sterling she had at the time of her decease remaining in the
hands of Jno Jeffries Esq of London Merch and the sd Robert
making humble suit this court have ordered that the sd
Jno Jeffries Esq pay unto the sd Robt Taliaferro in right of
his sd wife the 4th part of seventeen pounds sixteen shillings
sterling money wch appears due to her by the last will and
testmt in the hands of the sd Jno Jeffries Esq.

John Battaile... three hundred acres of land... on the south side of Rappa River being a part of 600 acres bequeathed betwixt Elizabeth and Sarah Catlett by Mr John Catlett decd... this 30th day of March 1687.

seven shillings and four pence.
