I don't have proof that Pauline and Jane were their daughters, but it appears they are. There were four
Dinwiddie brothers from that part of KY. James married Sarah's sister Margaret and moved to MO.
Alexander and Thomas married women not related to me. A RootsWeb entry gives children for them
which mostly agree with their census entries.
Allen Co marriage records show two Dinwiddie women marrying before 1830: Louisa and Pauline. The
above RootsWeb entry does not show Pauline as a daughter of Thomas or Alexander, so presumably
she belongs with William.
Marriage records show 3 Dinwiddie women marrying between 1830 and 1833: Jane, Mary, and Milly.
Mary and Milly are shown by the RootsWeb entry to be daughters of Alexander, but not Jane. Thomas
did not have a daughter until 1819, so Jane must be William's daughter.
The census entries do show Alexander and Thomas with one daughter more than shown in the
RootsWeb entry, so it is possible Jane goes with one of them. Thomas' extra daughter is not on the 1830
census, though, and I don't see Alex in Allen Co.
