Children of Elizabeth Evans and Michael Welker:
Catherine Welker
Mary Barbara Welker b. 1782-01-28
Michael II Welker b. about 1784-00-00
Christiana Welker b. about 1786-00-00
*Henry Welker b. 1788-00-00
Elizabeth Welker b. about 1789-00-00
Susanna Welker b. 1790-00-00

Notes:

She has to have been born after 1755, because she is 26-45 on the 1800 census. She probably wasn't born after 1760 if her second marriage was about 1780.

--
according to a tree that no longer exists:
first marriage Wagoner; second marriage about 1780 Michael Welker; third marriage George Smith

--
Elizabeth is supposed to have married widower George Smith after Michael died, and then moved to Armstrong Co PA right after they married. There are three George Smiths in Armstrong Co PA on the 1810 census. The only one that could really be them is in Kittanning twp (10011-12101). Her two sons left for OH about 1809. I don't know when her daughters married, but there's a pretty good chance Susan or Elizabeth was still at home. George had children by his first marriage, but I don't know their ages.

--
Many trees at Ancestry.com say she died 1830 Mercer Co PA.
There is a George Smith in Mercer Co on the 1820 census, but he is not old enough to be this Elizabeth's husband.

--
A message on the Westmoreland Co PA maillist has a transcription of an article about an 1893 reunion of
descendants of Walter Evans. Among them are R K Hissem, Enos Ruff, and Michael Welker. Some of
the Evanses at the reunion were from Stark Co OH.
Reuben Hissem and Enos Ruff are grandchildren of this Elizabeth's daughter Mary Barbara. Probably
this Michael Welker, grandson of this Elizabeth's son Michael II, is the one mentioned.
The only way those three men could be descendants of Walter Evans would be if this Elizabeth is a
daughter of Walter.

Note that on the 1790 census there was a Walter Evans in Montgomery Co PA, which is where Michael
Welker was living. Walter has two sons and three females in his household. On the 1800 census there
is a Walter Evans in Montgomery, and another in Westmoreland. The former is over 45, and the latter is
26-45. This could be a Walter senior and junior. The 1800 census for Westmoreland is alphabetized, so
it's hard to tell if Walter lived near Elizabeth.

--
More clues:
The younger Walter mentioned above is in Montgomery Co PA on the 1810 census. A few lines away is
Anthony Ruff, grandfather of Enos Ruff mentioned above.
The younger Walter had a son Walter c1798 who married Catherine Houser. They had a daughter
Catherine who married Jonas Ruff Kintigh, uncle of Reuben mentioned above. They also had a son
Joshua, who could be the one mentioned at the Evans reunion. They also had a daughter Hettie
who married Jacob Coughenour, another name at the reunion.
This Elizabeth's daughter Mary had a daughter Jane who married another Joshua Evans; they named a
son Walter.
