I like the idea of her being a daughter of John Thurman 1760 Wilkes Co GA d 1835 Fentress Co TN + Judith Hooper 1747 Hanover Co VA d 1847 Cumberland Co KY. John loaned Levi Hinds $1000 right about the time Levi's oldest son married. In 1821 that was a significant sum, and if Levi was John's son-in-law that could explain why John was willing to put up that much. Also, both Levi and John bought land from John McIver's large tract, so apparently they lived near each other.

New information 2020-04-21:
I put John R Thurman and Judith Hooper in my tree at Ancestry.com to see if ThruLines would find any matches.
I have 9 DNA matches who are from John R Thurman + Judith Hooper.
Two of them are also from Willoughby/Biggerstaff, and have common matches on that side.
The others I don't see another possible common ancestor.
This looks promising, but none of the trees shows a daughter Nancy for him.

Was she Nancy Bradshaw d/o William Bradshaw + Elizabeth Harper?
Most RootsWeb entries say William married Elizabeth about 1805. His first wife was Susannah
Robinson, by whom he had 9 or 11 children, not including a Nancy.
But one entry says William married Elizabeth in 1778 and had a daughter Nancy c1783 TN.
Note: Elizabeth states she has had only one child: Prudence Harper who married William Beach.

She wasn't a Bradshaw. In the 1818 court depositions regarding the will of William Bradshaw, Levi Hinds
states that he has known William Bradshaw "about five years". Since he married Nancy in 1801, she
must not be William's daughter. [I suppose she could be a niece.]

This page has:

89. m xii. Elijah BRADSHAW, born about 1766 in Virginia, died about 7 Sep 1838 in
Greene, Georgia.

1818...BIOGRAPHY: DEPOSITION of Levy Hinds 1818 in Overton County (Tennessee)
and also of Nancy Hinds at house of William Evans in said county 17 Feby.. 1820.
Nancy Hinds age 34 years deposeth "Mr. Beach moved across the river on McIver
land. Thurman offered to build a house for Mr. Beach on the opposite side of the river
and was afraid Mr. Thurman would not do it and they were sure of the place they had
and she intended to stay on it. I lived about one half mile from them three or four
years while he lived on Thurman place and there died. Said Bradshaw made a will in
North Carolina -- not to her mind -- He said he would never make another." "Mrs.
Bradshaw acted as a midwife. I expect that she was the only one in this country.
Signed Nancy (X) Hinds.

She might be a Harper. Note that she has a daughter Elizabeth Harper Hinds. Also, her son John married
Susanna Beach, whose mother was Elizabeth Harper's daughter. There was a Harper family living near
the Hindses in TN. The Prudence Harper who was the mother of Susanna Beach was born in VA.
Maybe this Nancy also was.

I found a message on the Hinds mailing-list that lists Levi's wife as Nancy Harper. I wrote to the submitter, but have not yet heard back.

Also from the Hinds mailing-list is this list of Land Grants in TN, Eastern District, 1788:
[...]
2727-2730. John Adair
2731. Francis Maberry
2732. Spruce McCoy
2733-2734. Joseph Hinds
2735. Levy Hinds
2736. Jesse Harper
2737. John Rhea
2738. Augusty Wilson
2739. Ebenezer Byrum
2740. William Gailey
2741-2742. Ebenezer Byrum
[...]
Note our Francis Mayberry, Joseph and Levi Hinds, and Ebenezer Byram. Also note that there is a Harper near (apparently next door?) to Levi. Could this be Nancy's father or brother?
--
A few trees at Ancestry.com give her as Nancy Coffey d/o John Coffey + Elizabeth Rucker. This can't be right, though, because John was born in 1776 and married in 1804.
