--
I got many of his descendants from this RootsWeb entry.

--
One tree says he had a daughter Elizabeth who married Leroy Pryor. Could that be the daughter
on the 1820 census?

--
Did he have a son Elias?
One page away from him on the 1830 census is Elias "Marbery" 20-30, with wife 20-30 and daughter <5.
I don't see that Elias after that, though.

There was another Elias Mayberry c1805, but he was s/o Frederick Mayberry of VA. He is in Monroe Co KY for the 1830 census.

Jackson Co., TN Loose District/Chancery Court Papers
Reel #97, McKoin - Maxwell, G.
Vol: 1839-1915

CHANCERY, 1854.

THE BILL OF COMPLAINT OF SETH MABERY AGAINST SETH MABERY, BOTH OF JACKSON CO. TN.

31 Oct. 1854.

Summary: complainant became indebted to Settle & Stone [merchants] in 1841. To secure this debt, he
made a deed of trust to this company for all of his personal property and a tract of land of fifty acres, the
plantation upon which he lived in 1841. He was never able to pay off the debt. His two sons, Thomas
and the defendant Seth, agreed to pay the debt of $300, for the other tracts of land Seth Sr. owned, as
well as the agreement to take care of him and his wife as long as they lived, and to permit them to remain
on the land. The sons divided the land, with Seth Jr. getting the most valuable part and agreeing to
undertake the support of his parents. Seth Sr. is now 70 years old. Seth Jr. is now threatening to sell this
land and dispossess Seth Sr. and his wife.

He wants to be able to stay on the land.
