Is this really the Nancy who married James Jones? Census entries almost consistently show his wife
born about 1788, which is too late for a daughter of Simeon.
On the 1800 census there are two Hinds families in Randolph Co: Joseph and a Nelly. The entry for Nelly doesn't have a female 10-16. The entry for Joseph does, but it doesn't really match him very well. He was a bound apprentice until 1791, so I wouldn't expect him to have a child before then.
