Leslie Long is said to have commonly referred to Martha Priscilla Long nee' Miller [daughter of this Martha's brother John] as his "little Indian grandmother". I was told by several older family members that Nelson's wife Martha "Patsy" Miller was a full-blood.
Martha is buried on Hugh E. Long's farm in Denton, TX.

DNA results show that Martha's mother was not Native American.
It's still possible that there is Native American on her father's side.
